11. A book I hated.

Ah, I’mma lose followers for this…

 “Catcher in the Rye” by J.D Salinger.

I’ll keep this one brief, as I don’t want to put people’s backs up, but honestly, I found the plotline lacking, which I could have coped with if not for the narrator’s cocky and frankly irritating tone.
I know a lot of people like this book, and a lot don’t - it’s generally seen as a 50-50 split, and I’m just resigned to the fact that I belong to the latter camp. Sorry.
